*EURweb has got an exclusive clip of the upcoming drama/suspense/thriller film “‘Til Death Do Us Part.”
Stephen Bishop (Michael) introduces the clip while on set for the film. In the clip, Michael (Stephen Bishop) and Malik Yoba (Rob Smith) share a drink while discussing Michael’s controlling behavior and the importance of communication and honesty in marriage.
The film also features Taye Diggs as Alex, the love interest of Annie Alonzeh. The “All Eyez on Me” actress portrays Madison Roland, the abused wife of Michael Roland, played by Bishop (“Safe House”). Robbine Lee rounds out the cast.
Christopher B. Stokes, the director of “You Got Served,” “Will to Love,” “Only for One Night,” “A Weekend with the Family” and “Boy Bye,” helms the project as writer/director. Stokes was motivated to tell a story that depicts all facets of a relationship when the pendulum swings in an unforeseen direction.
“Til Death Do Us Part” is an affirming and suspenseful story about a young woman’s struggle to escape a violent marriage to feel safe, whole, and find the ability to love again. It’s scheduled for theatrical release on Sept. 29 to also serve as a vehicle to draw attention to Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) which is October.
“I can’t think of a more thrilling and timely film project to draw attention to the movement. Madison Roland is the kind of character any director dreams of bringing to life,” says Stokes.

Michael Roland (Stephen Bishop) and Madison Roland (Annie Ilonzeh), had planned to spend the rest of their lives together, until one day Michael’s controlling ways turned their perfect marriage, into an abusive rollercoaster no woman could survive. With the help of her best friend, Madison adopts a new identity but discovers the difficulty of outwitting her obsessive husband. After adopting a new identity, she meets Alex Stone (Taye Diggs) and learns to love again. All is well, until Michael discovers Madison’s whereabouts, and recreates the nightmare she once lived all over again.
