Mike Pence Invites Candace Owens to White House for Talks on Race Relations

Candace Owens roundtable with Mike Pence

*Conservative activist Candace Owens was invited to take part in a roundtable discussion about race relations with Vice President Mike Pence in Washington Thursday.

Pence tweeted that he met with a small group of Black Americans to explore “how we can move our Nation forward in the wake of the tragic death of George Floyd and the protests and rioting that have ensued.”

As noted by The Daily Mail, Pence did not tag Owens in the photo, but did tag three Black conservatives: Heritage Foundation President Kay Cole James, Center for Urban Renewal and Education founder Star Parker and Elroy Sailor, who previously served on the Trump transition team, the report states.

Owens’ meeting with the vice president comes a day after she caught heat over a video post in which she said Floyd was a ‘horrible human being’ who had a criminal record and abused narcotics.

In a Facebook Live clip that she shared on Twitter, Owens detailed her issue with Black folks holding up Floyd as a ‘martyr’ or hero.

“We are unique in that we are the only people that fight and scream and demand support and justice for the people in our community who are up to no good,” she said of Black America.

“George Floyd was not an amazing person,” she added.

“As soon as this video hit the internet, I did just basic searches,” Owens said, noting that she found was Floyd’s criminal record.

“First and foremost George Floyd, at the time of his arrest, was high on fentanyl and methamphetamine,” Owens said. She also mentioned a 2007 robbery involving a a pregnant women and Floyd holding a gun to her abdomen.

“And this was the biggest instant I had that made me realize this is a horrible human being, that I’m not going to pretend is a good person,” said Owens.

“Why are we pretending that this criminal should be upheld as a citizen, as a martyr, or black America?” she asked.

Following her meeting with Pence at the White House, Owens tweeted: “Black lives only matter to white liberals, every 4 years, ahead of an election. I’m so sorry to those of you that thought otherwise.”

Candace Owens fails to grasp the reason everyone is mad in the first place. Why is it that millions of black people can say they’re experiencing justice, but the White House hand-selectss the one black person who has thinking that aligns with theirs. If they truly wanted to make progress, they’d find multiple people to get the perspectives of everyone.

She does not represent Black America. She is angry she is not white. No, she doesn’t speak for any of us. She speaks for those who oppresses Black America. She is in the skin, but that is all.

Even though we are not a monolith, she do not represent any of the Black people I know, or hell even 95% of the Black people I see speak on her online. The Black people that act like her do NOT associate with any other Black people (mates, friends, business partners, etc.), maybe besides their family. They love to have Black skin spew their talking points. Sorry to say, they always break their tool when they are done unsing them.

The Ancestors bore the brunt of physical enslavement, and today many of us esp., Ms. Owens bare the brunt of mental enslavement. In much of her statements past, and current Ms. Owens clearly loves plantation life: she’s accepted by, and for her conservative views and is so appreciated for espousing the ‘left’ as creating the ‘needy Negro,’and its past and current plight. The plantation is home, and she doesn’t want to leave versus establishing a new party system with beneficial solutions. Ms. Owens has ‘arrived’ and even subtle Jim Crow is all in the mind.

I have a problem with holier-than-thou people who demean others who cannot speak up for themselves. This is especially troubling when done by high profile personalities. I don’t see the worldwide support for George Floyd as holding him up as a hero as Owens states, so I wonder why she is trying to degrade a dead man. Does she have an ulterior motive? Perhaps, despite her accomplishments, the 31-year-old is too young to get it, but the majority of people who I hear are talking about the way Floyd died, not how he lived. A dog shouldn’t be killed that way. His family and friends naturally will rally around him. They knew and loved him. Critics like Owens will only seek to dig up dirt and talk about the wrongdoings he did while alive. Doesn’t she realize that the populace did not know Floyd and are not holding him up as a saint; they are rightly protesting the way that he was murdered and are demanding justice for him and others who have suffered the same unjust fate. The world is rallying for Floyd, and she can make as many videos disparaging him as she wants. It won’t change a thing. Get over it, Owens!

Rudy Giuliani wincing

Rudy Giuliani seems to reacting to something he heard … a foul odor? Hmmm …

*Not only is Rudy Giuliani passing BS as he tries to convince key Republican legislators to overturn the election for Donald Trump, he’s also passing GAS!

On Wednesday, Giuliani, who of course is President Trump’s personal flack, appeared to let one rip at least twice during the nearly five-hour hearing before state legislature in Lansing.

The very familiar sounds happened during a heated exchange with Rep. Darrin Camilleri, who confronted Giuliani over the New York Times article claiming he lobbied Trump for a preemptive pardon.

“I will ask that he be disciplined for that,” Giuliani, 76, said to Camilleri when the first fart noise was heard. (There’s no report of any concurrent stench in the air, but we digress.)

Well, it wasn’t 90 seconds later when the microphone picks up a similar sound that was obviously heard by Trump’s legal adviser, Jenna Ellis, who sat next to Giuliani during the hearing. You can tell by looking at her exasperated expression. 🙂

“The answer that I gave you was that they didn’t bother to interview a single witness,” Giuliani said, refusing to stop bickering with Camilleri.

In any event, as described by Daily Mail, “Ellis’ head snaps towards Giuliani, gives him a steady, knowing stare. A small smirk looked ready to escape, but she focused her attention back on the proceedings.”

Carey, mother of two shared that, as a child, the holidays were usually dysfunctional due to her relatives.

“I think it’s just that longing that I had as a child, that I always wanted things to be perfect for the holidays. And they never were,” Carey reflected. “It was always somebody ruining the moment, always these dysfunctional family members who came around and foiled everything. And so I just made a pact with myself that I wasn’t going to allow that to happen anymore.”

These days, Christmas is much more joyous for the singer.

“I literally go to a snowy place. Reindeer are there — I’m not making this up. Santa Claus comes, hangs out with the kids,” she said of her annual Christmas. “And by the way, even if I didn’t have kids, I would be doing this.”
